Proper manifolds aren't that expensive. I always liked the single HIF6. Do you have the horsepower needs to warrant larger carbs? If you aren't flowing enough you might actually lose performance by having larger intake and carbs, especially if you have a stock, non ported head. SUs meter air nicely but think volume vs. velocity.
