[Spridgets] Brakes Bleeding

Jess,

You might try isolating the problem by systematically shutting off each
wheel using hose clamps. You can get a set of 3 plastic clamps at Sears for
about $20, Harbor F. for less.
Unless you have a suspect, doesn`t matter where you start. For example,
clamp off right front, then try the pedal. If it firms up, you found the
culprit first try. If not, then do the LF. No luck in front, move on to the
rear hose, which may tell one or other rear wheels is troublesome. To find out
which, next, remove the hard line one side of the rear 3-way union and plug
the hole with a bleeder screw.
Make sure you keep the rear clamp in place while you`re doing that and, as
an extra measure, put a piece of clung wrap under the MC cap before you do
that to prevent all the fluid from leaking out and compounding the problem.
If none of all that gives you a pedal either you are not living right or
the MC is faulty. Of course, if you suspect that, you can always clamp off all
3 hoses first, which is not a bad idea.
I can send you some additional information off-list. Cheers,
