[Spridgets] Speaking of Harley Davidsons

You sir, are a rider. That is how my dad was. He rode his Harley to
work, rain or shine, most times.
My parents went on vacation on it. They and another couple went all
over the place.
Unfortunately, IMHO, most Harley owners aren't riders anymore. There
are some. I know a few. Most
of the ones I know can't stand Harley Bike Nights for the same reasons I can't.
My love affair with Harley ended when they became a status symbol and
not a tool for the majority.
You like to ride and choose to do so on a Harley. I can respect that.
If you haul it to Bike Night in a trailer
and then roll it out and talk about it and then roll it back into the
trailer I lose a little respect for you.
I met a group of guys at a restaurant recently. They were a group of
Bikers from Puerto Rico.
Most rode Harleys. All were riders. Every year their club made a
ride somewhere new. There were about 20 of
them. Baton Rouge is pretty far from Puerto Rico. They were
adventurous and refreshing. I wish I had been on
my bike so I could have ridden with them for a while. I wish I felt
that way about all Harley owners.
