Peter,

Just did this yesterday.
You have to get underneath. There is a square-headed plug on the right 
side. Fill with 90w gear lube until it runs out of the hole. Replace 
plug. Sorry, but you have to get dirty.

Is there access to the transmission check/fill plug from inside the car?

Or do I have to crawl?
