Yes. Bought mine about 1962. It was about a 1952 with the lit plastic Chief
on the hood. Price was less that $500. Rings were gone. I drove it from
Portland to Corvallis oblivious of the oil screen I was laying down...and
the tic-tic-tic of a rod bearing going. It let loose just outside Corvallis.
Sheared the cam shaft clean thru. I found the cam shaft piece in the engine
compartment. Still have it ...the cam shaft piece; car ownership lasted less
than a day.  ...bill in oregon
