[Spridgets] Eight foot fluorescent lights

There have been some improvements in the wattage of fluorescents in the last
year. I looked at the fluorescent replacements for filament bulbs last week
(Home Depot.) They have some now that claim to put out 100-watts. They stick
out 5 3/4 inches from the screw in base. None of this 15w supposed to put
out 40 watts of visible light.  ...bill in oregon

There was a two pack of Philips 110W HO 8 foot bulbs for $13 at Home
Depot.   The hardest part was getting the fixture and bulbs home in my Honda
Accord coupe. :)
