Moon phase. We're coming off/waning off of a full moon.

I'm there with you. Jets/pistons are where they are, but one day it decides
to idle at 2k, but its not due to the accelerator or cable.

Subject: [Spridgets] Saga of the Miss...

Hello Spridgets,

I thought I had the miss fixed after changing the cap, rotor and
wires. It ran perfectly--for a while-- then it came back again.
Why, when I don't actually take care of the problem, does it
keep coming back? That is, If what I changed wasn't the problem
why will it get better at all?.. At any rate I finally had a
little time today, so I took two people's advice and tried two
things.. New plugs, even thought he old ones look fine and are
of near perfect tan color, AND took off the suction chambers and
checked for "drag". the rear carb piston was indeed hanging up near
the
bottom of the suction chamber. I took a clean rag and wiped it
all out, (I thought about using SCOTCH BRITE but was afraid of
"sanding down" something that is supposed to be a machined fit?)
so the piston falls smoothly right on out, then put it all back
      together.
Took a test drive and all is well.. .. again...

      for now........?????
