  It was fun to watch my instructor's face after my first flying lesson.  I handed him my brand new log book and he opened it to find it already had B-17 time listed in it.  :-) :-) :-)

  I went up in the EAA's B-17G "Aluminum Overcast" before the FAA went totally nuts.  All us tourists got to spend about 10 minutes each at the controls. :-) :-) :-)
