[Spridgets] Seats

Have you thought of a direct mount seat?  Basically padding against the
bulkhead.  The early/basic Lotus-Caterham 7's have used that arrangement for
years.

Has anybody on the list moved their driver seat back a couple of inches past
the rear bulkhead in order to get further away from the steering wheel
whilst driving>

I have been tempted to either play with the bulkhead behind the seat (cut
and weld) or do something to the back of the seat so that I can set the
rails a bit further back.

At 6' my leg room is still good as is.  I just do not like being so close to
the steering wheel.

My car is a nice daily driver. .  not worried about keeping it at show room
stock level.
