Dunno if I will have time to do another update tomorrow morning but the
forecast has pretty much gelled....

Upper level low pressure digging in over the eastern US as expected and is
starting to lift the system now off the Carolinas northward. Again, this is
as forecast several days ago. The system has already tapped tropical
moisture from the Bahamas so is fairly wet. A broad area of surface low
pressure associated with the upper low will drift into the Carolinas and
Virginia before making its way slowly north northeast along the eastern
seaboard through the weekend.

For Toms River area, easterly onshore winds will gradually increase into
Thursday. An area of light to occasionally moderate rain will move north
across most of southern New Jersey Thursday morning reaching both
Philadelphia and Toms River by midday. Rains will continue off and on
throughout the area from Thursday afternoon through Friday night before
tapering off into Saturday morning. At least a small chance for light rain
continues over the weekend, but once the surface low passes to the northeast
and winds shift to off shore, conditions will improve markedly.

Look or highs in the mid to upper 60s Thursday and Friday with lows in the
upper 50s Thursday night and in the lower 60s Friday night. It will be
breezy Thursday and Friday with east winds around 20 mph and gusty. For
Saturday, look for shifting westerly winds with a high around 70 and a low
Saturday night in the lower 60s. Some sunshine breaking through on Sunday
with a high in the mid 70s. There will be at least some chance for an
isolated rain shower Saturday and Sunday afternoon depending upon how much
sunshine is seen. More sun, better chance for showers developing.

Cheers!!
Jim

P.S. To Frank: Might be some delays at Philly International by Tomorrow
evening.... Mucky weather slows air travel...
