Dave,

Remember you have to be completely *in* the wind to realize that wind chill.
Coming around the sides or over the top of the wind screen doesn't count
;-)

When I was younger (more stupid?) I used to regularly ride a motorcycle in
weather all the way down to zero F.  Back in the 70s I rode my BMW with no
windscreen all year round for 2 full years - even in the snow and ice. And
that was Omaha, NE!

What happens when your brain freezes?  I couldn't have lost much - there
wasn't much in there to begin with   ;-)
