[Spridgets] Rear Axle U-Bolts?

Hello Spridgets,

         i don't see in the "book" any listing for how tight to get
         the U-Bolts that hold the axle to the springs (on any model,
         but mine is a half eleptical '66)

         i used to have torque steer, that is when i got on or off the
         accelerator the car would change direction slightly. i
         tightened up said bolts and that effect went away, but now
         i'm curious.... how tight SHOULD they be?
