I've got 20+ stick shift cars... only 2 automatics... her Jeep Commander,
and a 3/4 ton, one ton rear axle GMC pick up with manual steering and manual
drum brakes... she's not likely to drive that. 

I've taught her to drive 3 different vehicles with stick shift... my Sprite,
my big Healey, and the 1 ton diesel dually. She'd rather drive automatic,
and I'd rather have a 2nd vehicle she's comfortable in.

As you know the roads leading into town from out here are shit in the
winter.
