No one's mentioned this aspect....

Over thirty years ago, I had my first Bugeye "sand blasted".  Aside from
both doors getting caved-in from excessive pressure, the guy did a great
job.  Done by a fellow named 'Lefty'...had one arm.  Well, I'm STILL
vacuuming sand.

I've had a number of other BEs (and other rigs) soda blasted.  Great way to
go.  Just hose it down, nothing left to haunt you for years to come.

Always clean with solvent just prior to prime/paint; like someone
said...'film'.

Herb
