Larry,

Not sure what wheels you're getting into... Minilites? American Racing
Silverstones? 

I've got 22 of the American Racing Silverstones, and 4 of the original
Minilites... all 13" for Sprites. Every one I've had tested (dye) came out
fine.

However, I've got friends that have the 15" version of the Silverstones for
Triumphs... and 75% of them have cracks.
