Jim,

Although there were no Bugeyes (US export) built I would lean towards '61 
only because you have the original BMC black tag for it.  Otherwise I would 
say '60.  Your car was most likely a leftover from 1960 and as already 
pointed out tag with the BMC sticker to make it appear as a 'new' 1961 car 
when it was sold.  Just my opinion.
