You should be getting more travel, I think.  1/2-3/4 inches isn't enough, IIRC.
Could there be something obstructing the slave piston travel?  Maybe
it isn't retracting enough to get a full range of motion.  I think you
would feel abnormal piston travel in the master, but the slave should
travel more than 3/4", no?
Anyone know the normal travel range of the slave piston?
