[Shop-talk] insurance and inventories

Modern cell phones can record for as long as they have storage. I have
three kids (9, 7, 4.75) and that's why I have a 256GB storage iPhone SE2! I
also have a couple of GoPro cameras, which take shockingly good video (and
have removable micro-SD card storage).

That said, if what you have is your mobile phone (or a tablet with a
camera), I would just do the video walkthrough (don't rush, and talk to the
camera to elaborate/explain what's being seen as if you're talking to your
insurance adjuster) and save it both locally (USB sticks are cheap and
durable) and in your preferred cloud provider.

I'll add that if you have VHS, 8mm and/or Beta video cassettes (or
LaserDiscs) you'd like converted to digital (or modern physical media), I
can do that.
