 Yes, pretty much.  If you can make it through the day on a charge and charge overnight it probably won't impact your lifestyle since it doesn't matter if the batteries get charged halfway through the night or towards sunrise.  If you need to recharge during the day your down time will be double.

I have a 24volt 4 amp charger for a handicapped scooter.  It died. So I’m looking at chargers on the web I see a 2 amp charger that is quite a bit cheaper than the 4 amp...  my question.  what is the differencein charge time between the 2 amp and the 4 amp..  I’m assuming that the 2 amp will take twice as long tocharge as the 4 amp ??  is that right figuring ?? john
