[Shop-talk] battery charging rates

I have a 24volt 4 amp charger for a handicapped scooter.  It died. So I’m looking at chargers on the web

I see a 2 amp charger that is quite a bit cheaper than the 4 amp...  my question.  what is the difference
in charge time between the 2 amp and the 4 amp..  I’m assuming that the 2 amp will take twice as long to
charge as the 4 amp ??  is that right figuring ??
