[Shop-talk] Grease gun will no longer go on the zerk fittings

My problem has been getting good replacement couplers. My 1970 grease gun,
still my best, finally needed a new coupler years ago and since then it's
been a struggle to find a high quality coupler. The Lincoln ones in auto
parts stores have been poor Chinese ones for years now. Maybe McMaster
Carr sells better ones? The Lock'nLube works but if just as soon use a
regular coupler that works, especially when attaching to a hard to reach
fitting - Suburban idler arm for instance.
