<div dir="auto">My problem has been getting good replacement couplers. My 1970 grease gun, still my best, finally needed a new coupler years ago and since then it's been a struggle to find a high quality coupler. The Lincoln ones in auto parts stores have been poor Chinese ones for years now. Maybe McMaster Carr sells better ones? The Lock'nLube works but if just as soon use a regular coupler that works, especially when attaching to a hard to reach fitting - Suburban idler arm for instance.</div><div dir='auto'><br></div>

Have you tried changing the coupler on the grease gun? They do wear out after some years of use. I have a 25 year old grease gun that I have change twice, both time making it work like new again.</div>
