Jim,
Volunteering with Habitat for Humanity for 30 years has taken a toll on my wrists. I used wrist braces for a year which helped but not that much. I had surgery about 8 years ago. One hand is fine & the other one is much better. There were 2 types of surgery, one they open you up & one through 2 small slits. I was a candidate for the latter. I used to be kept awake with tingling down my whole arm after heavy work but no more. What’s weird for me is it is my non-dominant hand that is the worst. As a reference, I’ll 71.
Peace,
Pat

While I was editing my last post with numb hands I thought maybe some folks here had run into this issue and thought about, or gotten, the surgery. I've had it for 20 years and it only acts up when I do a bunch of remodeling, which I'm going to be doing for the next few years. A friend got the surgery years ago and highly recommends it. I'm very leery of being cut open, at least as much because of infection as for the potential to make things worse.
Thoughts?
thanks,
jim
