And think, maybe you'll need to buy some new tools! You need a new router,
new router bits, a cutting guide, some new screwdrivers, and even a table
saw to cut it to fit!

No, but this is shop-talk... don't you just need a couple undermount
drawer slides? Then make your desk surface out of whatever material suits
you, and chop up some 1-by into cubbies for the top.
The unlikelihood of finding a unit that will precisely fit a specific
existing cabinet and the relative simplicity of building it seem to argue
for the latter, in this case.
