Sorry about the damage Pat. My friend had a similar "fart" that took out
the back half of his house. The best cleaner we used was TSP (trisodium
phosphate), but it is nasty stuff, gloves, eye protection, old clothes,
etc. His wife got a less alkaline cleaner from the big box store: Krud
Kutter

It worked ok, Simple Green also seemed to work ok, but we used the TSP for
the really have stuff.
