[Shop-talk] blue screen problems... need the gurus

I'd try removing half the memory and run for a week. If it doesn't crash, add some memory back. If it still crashes swap out the memory for what was removed. 

I'm not a fan of running the latest os, unless I was running vista. 

You might also set up another user and see if it crashes.
