[Shop-talk] Roofing options for access to a steep roof

I stopped cleaning my own gutters, 2&3 stories up, when I heard, from the
third guy, how he lost his Dad, when he fell off the roof of their house.

But if you fell, that would be the only time you REALLY needed the doorknob
to
hold, right?

My brother in law fell off one story garage, broke his pelvis, lay in the
yard
most of the day, and then took about a year before he could move without
pain.

YMMV,

Not really. It's a last resort kinda of thing, and I'm not putting all my
weight
(unless I fall) in it. :)
