But if you fell, that would be the only time you REALLY needed the doorknob to
hold, right?
 
My brother in law fell off one story garage, broke his pelvis, lay in the yard
most of the day, and then took about a year before he could move without
pain.

Not really.  It's a last resort kinda of thing, and I'm not putting all my
