[Shop-talk] home plating kits

I was wondering if anyone has purchased a home plating kit offered by the auto
restoration industry (Eastwood).  I purchased one and it appears to be decent
although I am not sure how long the plating will hold up.  This one only does
one at a time.  Is there something bigger and reasonably priced out there ?
Also, has anyone made their own ? Is the solution and anode available online
or available elsewhere under another name ??
