[Oletrucks] Starting problem

Smokey,

There is a pin/switch on the starter that puts 12 volts on the coil while the starter is engaged. When you let off the mechanical starter the voltage to the coil goes through the resistor on the firewall (maybe 9 or 10 volts). Maybe this is the issue somehow. You can out a jumper from the +batter to the coil to see if it runs that way.

Subject: [Oletrucks] Starting problem

Hey guys, on my 235, I just replaced the starter and for some reason I get no fire to start the engine. There is a 2 post terminal on the firewall with one wire to the starter and one is not connected to anything. Could the loose wire be a factor?

Thanks!
