[Oletrucks] filler here?

Will filler work here if I scuff it up good with 36 grit? I put on a cab
corner and something happened between welding and grinding to give me more
of a gap than I need. I know welding something in would be best, but would
filler work? After all my welding and grinding got me to this point  hehehe
