[NOBBC] Any thoughts on a starting issue?

Thanks again for all of the suggestions. I will let you know how it goes when
I get a moment to do some tinkering. Just answering a couple of questions
about the set up in my Aceca. It has its original AC engine and triple SU set
up. I checked for some identifying number on the carbs and found "1160 L" in
raised characters on them. I assume that is a part number but could not say
for certain. For reference, the OD of the main body that has the dashpot in
the top appears to be around 2.32" and the ID of the air intake bore is 1.25".
More to come.

The HIF-4 Carb(74
MGB) Has throttle shaft seals that wear and cause
uncertain starting. SU carb
needles and jets wear over time and may cause a
rich condition, especially on
choke starting. Periodic rebuilds are
necessary- or replacement. What carbs
are on the 59 AC? Replacement
Webers are not as challanging as the SU constant
velocity carbs.
