[Nobbc] Status on assuming Ron's duties

Thanks for your efforts.

Would it not be easier at this time to go all new with the autox.team and
Farcebook . Set up new accounts with new passwords that you can share with a
few people for safe keeping. Then the only thing we will be missing is the
membership list, which would be great to have but there is really no hurry
to get it.

Also, since several members seem to be adverse to Facebook can you find out
the cost of having a storage account with Dropbox, Piccasa or Shutterfly. A
few small donations per year would probably cover one of these clouds. And
the picture quality is far better than Facebook.

Here's a status report on my efforts to assume the membership and email list
duties:

Ron's widow Candy has told me that it will take some time before they can
try to get access to the membership list on Ron's computer, as she needs the
help of Ron's brother who lives back east. Unfortunately, all of the
passwords for the email list, Facebook, etc., were memorized by Ron and not
written down.

As a result, although Mark Bradakis has transferred list administrator
privileges to me, he hasn't transferred my password, so I can't actually
handle anything on that yet. Also, with the Facebook account set up by Ron
and with his password, no one has access to accept new members or make other
changes. I'll ask Candy to log on from Ron's computer and establish a new
password so we can transfer the account to me, but that will also take time.

So, we're limping along right now, until we can get control over our data
and our member interfaces, but I'll keep at it.
