[Nobbc] need a nice MGA? It's sold

I got contact info on the MGA from Gerry and called Marge, the owner,
this morning and told her I planned to see the car in the afternoon,
and would call again. So, in the early afternoon, I called back to
tell Marge that my wife and I were leaving, and would be there in
less than an hour to see the MGA. She said fine, that the car was
still available and no one had expressed interest in it. On the way,
I called again, left a message that I had to make a couple short
stops, so would be a few minutes later than I had said. Within a few
minutes, I got a call from Marge while I'm on the road, about half
way to Glen Ellen, saying that she has just sold the car.

I was looking at it on behalf of a friend, so would not have been
able to make the purchase that quickly upon an inspection anyway.

Lesson? Act quickly, because if you don't, someone else will.

Thanks to Gerry for posting the car as the word does get out to the
British car community in the area.

p.s. If anyone knows of a steel dash MGB roadster for sale, please
let me know. And if anyone knows of a buyer for a '73 B GT, send him my way.
