Hi Greg,

B B B I questioned my Spitfire's electric oil pressure gauge, and purchased a
cheap ($15) mechanical gauge from Auto Zone. I compared the two readings, and
found the electrical gauge was correct. So I mounted the mechanical gauge
under the hood and left the electrical gauge in the dash. It's definitely an
inexpensive way to see what's up with your gauge, and you don't have to send
it out unless it's bad. It's alsoB nice to have one under the hood for
troubleshooting.

Cheers,

Rich
