[Nobbc] Removal of breather pipe? MGA

I second the breather pipe suggestions. Short of installing most of the MGB 
breather arrangement it seems that there is no way to have the MGA engine 
NOT drop oil on the highway. Either through the blow-by from the crank-case 
out the tappet cover pipe and/or out the rocker cover pipe (from the valve 
stem seals). If one connects the rocker pipe to the carbs, then it is 
possible to scavenge the rockers, but that still results in oil loss!

You choose, oil past the front oil seal or tappet/rocker breather. Remember 
that one of the endearing features of 1950's technology was the way it kept 
mechanics and gas stations (Castrol R) in employment!

BTW, I am more than usually absent from the rides this winter. The MGA is in 
"my shop" to install new radiator, oil cooler and front shock. I will take 
the chance to restore the radiator intake grille as well so I do not mess up 
those club pictures next time we all go to Goat Rock.

Now oysters at Marshall could almost make me rush the works in hand but I 
know that April will be the earliest I will complete things.
