[Nobbc] [Fwd: 2nd annual Marin Sonoma Concours d'Elegance May 16th 2010]

I am being urged by several people, some involved with the Marin event and
some not, to enter my car. It certainly would win no prizes, and that's fine
by me. I own it to drive, not to show. It has been pointed out to me that
there will also be an associated drive, perhaps led or at least organized by
Martin Swig, whose New Year's Day drives (pardon, the Anti-Football Run) I
wouldn't miss for the world. A big plus. However, while the "gate" may be
only $15, entering a car, even at the early-bird discount rate and without
being judged (as would be my preference) runs $60. So while this is perhaps
not a crushing amount, it is also not trivial and does in fact give me
pause. So I'm still on the fence on this one but trying to be as Light about
it as possible.
