[Mini] Shelved ideas, internal gearshift box

Hi!

One of my things to do was to move the gearshift inboard just like you find
in Mini 7s

Q: Has anyone done this? Where did you source the necessary universal
joints and where were they placed in the existing shaft to accomodate the
angular change?

I already have a quickshift fitted so this would be double quick!

Q: Anyone know the size of the hole in the end of the bush that links the
gear linkage to the shaft out of the back of the gearbox (rod change)
