[Mini] heritage certificates and reshelling into a heritage shell

It was common to reshell new cars once upon a time when labour costs were low.
And they simply went with the donor documents and numbers. This is also done
today with classics. It will not affect your heritage documentation. AFAIK the
heritage shells do not receive "official" body numbers of their own.... In how
far you may theoretically have a problem with getting tax exempt status is
more a matter of, say, "declaration".....

Best....

 A question

If you had a genuine rust bucket with a
 heritage certificate, if you
 reshelled it
into a new heritage shell would you
 keep the original heritage
 certification?

 Cheers
