A set of carbs is one of the more expensive things you could buy, and non-trivial to set up. I think you would be better off just making it run with the Weber and put that expense on the next guy. $1000 of new carbs will not raise the selling price $1200, so it doesn’t pencil out. That’s probably true of any money you put into it — at best, you’d recoup 80% of the investment, when you include your time into it. Remember, you are paying full retail for any new parts, but the buyer will consider them “used” in his pricing estimation.
