No, warning sounds only when lights are on and door is opened - but in my
Mazda, that doesn't happen in the 'auto' position as they shut off after 30
seconds (or whatever you have it set for). My daughter's car as the 'auto
stop'start' feature that shuts the engine off when you're stopped (i.e., at
a red light). There is a light that illuminates when it shuts off. You can
disable it with a switch on the dash that lights up when you push it. But
it resets when you shut off the car.
