[Mgs] So quiet!

Yes, it’s quiet here.

I’m planning to do an annual service and possibly will sell the GT after so many years.

My wife’s health has made, that she is not able to travel with anymore and our son has little to no time anymore.

So I have not used the MG hardly last year and expect the same for this year.

Pity after almost 30 years with the GT…

A car should be driven more regularly, than a few times per year.

I stick with classic vehicles though, as I’m actively restoring and riding Puch mopeds from the early 1970’s.

This winter I totally restored a 1970 Puch Skyhunter to one like I bought new in 1970.

A total nut and bolt job and an engine overhaul replacing clutch and oil seals.

The VIN numbers differ 6 digits only!

For those who like to see the results, I can send some pictures.

Cheers,

Hans

Serviced my '69 B starting last month. Took her out for a spin in the neighborhood but she wouldn't pull uphill. Fuel pump volume way down, carbs would run almost dry on acceleration. A new electronic SU pump took care of that. Gotta rebuild the old points-type for a spare. Then I decided 10 year old tires were pushing my luck. She's wearing a new set of Coopers now. She's running like a top. Planned a trip to see this spring's Bluebonnets around Willow City, TX, but the weather has turned to crud.
Waiting for sunny days.....

So what are you working on? Spring has sprung in the Northern Hemisphere. You cars coming out of hibernation? Good stories?
