Advisable, given there is obviously a problem somewhere with it you don't want it stalling at 190 when the temp has got up to 220.

While the only temperature that needs to be indicated with any degree of precision is Standard Operating Temperature (180º), I feel I need to know that the needle is actually capable of moving significantly from this position. So I think this guy is coming out.
