[Mgs] Brake pressure balance switch

The switch (in my 71 BGT) is actuated by a kind of piston in the hydraulic circuit.
The piston is housed into a front - back cross brake line connection, where the piston will not be moved from its center position, when the pressure at both sides is equal.
The piston has at both sides o-rings, which have the function for building the pressure, like the piston rings in an engine.
If one of these rings is faulty (leaking), the actuator will be moved and will actuate the brake pressure switch.
In my 71 BGT these o-rings can be replaced easily.

Not so;  if the rear brakes aren't working then the brake balance 
sensor/switch is doing its job.  If I found out that both front & rear 
brakes were working normally then I'd start looking for the reason for 
the false indication.
