[Mgs] [MG-MGB] Rough Running

Ok, tried removing the brake booster vacuum hose with no change.....
I removed it at the manifold end as it was a lot easier to get to - plugged the port there. Car ran the same when started, however revs increased noticeably when I removed theplug while the car was running. Still ran roughly but not quite as badly and with increased vigor, it seemed to me. And the hose was completely dry as far up as I could reach witha swab. I then hooked it up, ran the car again, and then checked inside the hose again - still dry.....
I'll worry about the brake fluid loss once I get the car up and running again.... Didn't seem like the reservoir was any lower today after running the car a bit yesterday....
Any thoughts on what to check next?
Thx, Dan

Yes.  It would only be wet if it is sucking brake fluid past a faulty seal in the servo. PaulH.
----- Original Message ----- Ok, thanks, guys, will check this tonight. I assume that this is simply providing vacuum to the booster and should be dry normally...?
