[Mgs] oversize tire on MG

I am looking for tires for an MGC with 15” by 5” wide wire
wheels.  the 205-65r 15 tire has simiar dia. but should
be used with at least 5.5” rim.   Does any one have a story to
tell about using the 205 65 tire on the narrow rim??
