[Mgs] What SIZE tires are people putting on MGBs now

AFAIK 80 profile were the standard, with 155 for the roadster, 165 for the 
GT, 175 for the V8 and 185/70 for the LE/Special with alloy wheels.

80 profile seem to have gone awol years ago, but 70s are still pretty common 
in the UK albeit from specialists, unlikely to be in stock with the average 
tyre place.  UK has a company called Black Circles where you buy online, and 
nominate a local place to fit them.  They come at a discount, and although 
you can usually go to your local place and they can get them from Black 
Circles, you usually pay more that way.

175/70 give almost the same rolling radius as the original roadsters i.e. 
same speedo reading, 165/70 give about 3% over reading (i.e. speedo shows 
higher than actual), and 165/65 about 1% over reading.  155/70 give about 7% 
over-reading, which is quite a lot, especially considering they are already 
over-reading from 0% to 10% anyway (or were originally).
