[Mgs] regulator?

Since both gauges drift, it's probably the line voltage stabiliser that is
at fault. This device is to hold their voltage to approx 10VDC, though
everything else in the car operates at 12v. Try pointing the car at garage
door with headlamps on. If they are steady in their brilliance while the
gauges are drifting, it's the line voltage stabiliser.Bob

I noticed the gas gauge and the temperature gauge both tend to drift about
a quarter of the way down from mid range and back again while driving. Is
this the voltage regulator? Is it getting weak or is it a "works", "don't
works" part? Or maybe it's not the regulator at all?
