If you have a timing light. Hook it up to each wire in turn (staring with coil
to dizzy), and see that something happens when cranking.
If you don't have a timing light, you really need one. But to just check for
spark, you can hold a wire with insulated pliers near to a metal part under
the hood, and the spark should jump when cranking.
Once you have reliable spark, you'll need to use the timing light to make sure
you have the timing right, or close.
