[Mgs] MGA clutch

My clutch seems to work fine when I first start the car. After about 15
minutes of driving the clutch seems to slip. I can press the gas while in 4th
gear ,45 to 50 miles an hour , and can feel and see that the clutch is
slipping. The tach rpm goes up without speeding the car up. Could this be the
hose at the slave cylinder? I have read that the interior of that hose can
break down and create a oneway valve. Is there any way to check the clutch
without pulling the engine?
